Microsoft is the bandwaggon chaser that sells their own family members in the hopes that people will stick with the product after plastering more ads on it than a Nascar driver's coat and car combined, while covertly replacing whatever the product originally was with their own piss; in their mind the demand can only go up because they slapped their brand on it, and like all capitalists they expect infinate growth purely because they were the ones to appropriate the thing.
