The Ubuntu power menu uses the phrase "power off" to mean "do a graceful shutdown" but the VMWare power menu uses "power off" to mean "cut power to the machine" and it keeps fucking me up

@Gulfie and then you have Win9x where "Shut Down" just means "Present a screen telling you to do it yourself" unless your hardware supports it (which VMWare does not iirc)
