So I've seen old social media like Geocities first hand recently, and its honestly wild how common it was for people to add personal info into their biographies.
People listing their real name, birthday/star sign, and real country or state was more common than you probably remember.

It's bad and dangerous to give out a lot of personal details online. We can all agree to that.
The "boomer mindset" part comes from millennials assuming they were so much better and sensible, and so much different than gen Z. When that's definitely not the case.
